SMF^® is a highly porous, thin filter medium made of sintered metal. A precisely defined stainless steel powder forms the pore structure, is sintered, and supported by an expanded metal carrier that provides the necessary strength. The result is a mechanically and thermally extremely stable filter medium, available in three different porosities and distinguished by its excellent properties.

Manufactured as an endless strip with a thickness of only 0.4 mm, the filter medium impresses with its high flexibility and stability as well as its exceptional versatility. It can be pleated, easily cutted and welded, and is available in widths of up to 610 mm.
