LÖDIGE DRUVATHERM® Shovel Dryers are batch-processvacuum dryers. The main shaft with shovels is regulatedby frequency converter to achieve an optimal adjustmentto the process. The special mixing elements rotate in thecylindrical drum, which is equipped with a heating/ coolingjacket, and generate a three dimensional movement ofthe product (mechanically generated fluid bed). Theresultant frequent contact of particles with the heattransfer surface reduces the drying times to a minimum.
