Explosion protection is not always the solution. In addition to preventing the build-up of combustible dust and effective ignition sources, filter elements contaminated with dust in particular represent a significant fire load. Using practical examples, this presentation highlights which risks are frequently underestimated and which technical measures are available for early detection, reporting and effective firefighting. Participants will receive specific recommendations for the safe and standards-compliant design of filter systems.
