Our BrazeCoat process enables the production of coatings to protect metallic surfaces of highly stressed components against wear.

When using the BrazeCoat-M method, flexible molded parts (mats) made of polymer-bonded carbides and polymer-bonded brazing powders (e.g. NiCrBSi) are produced, precisely cut to size, and placed layer by layer on the substrate. Through brazing under protective gas atmosphere or vacuum, extremely hard composite layers are created that contain up to 70% vol. fine-grained carbide particles, embedded in a metallic matrix.
