Pneumatic impactors imitate the hit effect of a hammer, converting the pneumatic energy of compressed air to a mechanical impact with particular features depending on the working principle:

• Series PKL: Compressed air pushes a piston against a spring. When the spring is abruptly released, the piston strikes powerfully against the impact plate, transferring the whole energy by a single impact.
• Series NHK: An impact mass driven by a pneumatic linear vibrator hits the impact plate at the frequency of the linear vibrator, thus generating multiple impacts at high frequency. In this way, energy is transferred during a longer period of time, increasing the efficiency.
