POWTECH TECHNOPHARM will continue as usual and will take place again in autumn 2026.

For the POWTECH TECHNOPHARM event team, it is always a celebration when the new hall plans are drawn up. In January, it was that time again. Many of the exhibitors at the trade fair in Nuremberg, which this time begins at the end of September on 29 September, can now be discovered on the detailed plans

The entire process chain in Halls 7 A to 9

The newly occupied halls arouse curiosity. From the large car park on Große Straße and the NCC Ost congress area, you can access Hall 7A, which has a particularly airy feel thanks to its large window front. At the entrance, UWT Level Control and ACO Automation Components welcome you with the latest measurement technologies for level and moisture, two key disciplines for automation and quality control in process technology. Many of the suppliers of core process engineering processes are also located in the hall – with technology for mixing and kneading, granulating, and tempering, and fine grinding, such as Eirich and Daxner, or crushing and compacting, such as Hosokawa Alpine. Specialists in mixing technology such as Amixon, Ruberg and AML Anlagentechnik, in screening and drying such as Hein Lehmann, GKM Siebtechnik and Allgaier, and in grinding such as Neumann & Esser are also exhibiting here.

Typical for POWTECH TECHNOPHARM: every hall features suppliers for the entire process chain in process engineering plants. Consequently, the range of processing solutions is complemented by powder handling solution providers Volkmann, Jacob Rohrsysteme and F. lli Sacchi, as well as specialists in filling, packaging, and palletising such as Haver & Boecker.

The diversity of the technologies on offer meets the diversity of the visitor industries: POWTECH TECHNOPHARM covers the needs for the process engineering production of a wide variety of products.

Another highlight in Hall 7A is the new Smart Industry-in-Focus pavilion. Newcomers to the process environment who contribute to AI-supported process optimisation, automation and digital process integration can take advantage of the low-threshold offer and present their products and services there.

VDMA, DSIV and VDI set priorities in Hall 7

Once you have made your way through Hall 7A, you enter the spacious Hall 7, which will also be used by POWTECH TECHNOPHARM for the first time in 2026. There you will find the VDMA joint stand, where member companies will once again showcase their innovative strength in process engineering and process air technology. A few steps further on, the DSIV, the German Bulk Solids Industry Association, will be presenting itself for the first time. Many of its members have been regular exhibitors for a long time. Now NürnbergMesse and the DSIV are also offering small or new members the opportunity to get to know POWTECH TECHNOPHARM and its visitors at the joint stand. With the VDI, another important industry association is inviting visitors to network in this hall.

Mixing, drying, separating, grinding, conveyors – basic operations everywhere

In Hall 7, you will find major process engineering suppliers such as Lödige, Bachiller and Servolift with mixers, granulators, filters, and dryers, as well as Bückmann and Engelsmann with screening machines and filling and emptying systems. Crushing technology is also on offer here, for example from Frewitt and Fritsch. Coperion has proven and innovative solutions for the handling and dosing of bulk materials. Complementary safety technology is available from Rico and Stif, among others. Thermal process technology from Bernd Münstermann, supplemented by air pollution control systems, can also be found here, as can machines for drying, cooling, and conveying, including those from Vibra Schultheis. And at the end of the production chain are suppliers of scales and filling systems such as the Vollenda factory and conveyor technology specialists such as Wiese.

High-tech for the pharmaceutical industry and other demanding sectors

Hall 7 also hosts several exhibitors targeting the life sciences sector. Novindustra Containment is back again, presenting technology for the production of highly active substances together with Lugaia Containment Solutions, rubitec and other exhibitors. In this TECHNOPHARM environment in particular, suppliers such as Sympatec contribute to high quality with their analysis technology for particle size and shape. Plant manufacturers specialising in life sciences form a cluster, such as Glatt with its many years of experience and innovative technologies for spray granulation, microencapsulation, etc. Also, of interest to visitors from the pharmaceutical industry is the portfolio of BHS Sonthofen, which covers solid-liquid separation as well as drying and mixing.

Shortly before the transition to the other halls, there is another top dog at POWTECH TECHNOPHARM. AZO claims to master the automation and logistics of all raw materials in the production processes of the bulk solids industry. The company implements plant engineering and process technology for a wide range of industries – from food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics to chemicals and plastics – including control and automation technology from its own in-house development. In 2026, its stand will once again be one of the largest at the trade fair. In addition, the POWTECH TECHNOPHARM Forum will once again provide inspiration for fresh solutions every half hour.

Hall 9 with the Pharma-in-Focus Pavilion

From here, it is a short walk to the huge Hall 9 – and you will find yourself right in front of the Pharma-in-Focus Pavilion, where pharmaceutical specialists were able to display their expertise in 2025. In 2026, other fresh players from the pharmaceutical sector will have the opportunity to do the same. New additions include Singold Gerätetechnik with material flow solutions and the special plant manufacturer Mehrtec. Several pharmaceutical specialists are also located at neighbouring stands, including Fette Compacting, the technology leader in tablet manufacturing. Pharmaceutical expertise extends throughout the entire hall, right up to ART Anlagenbau Reinraum, which specialises in containment.

As in all halls at POWTECH TECHNOPHARM, suppliers who have geared their solutions to more than one sector of the bulk solids processing industry dominate. Once again, ‘broadband suppliers’ such as Dinnissen Schüttgutverfahrenstechnik, which offer solutions for the entire process chain from product intake to processing and packaging, are setting the tone. Or more narrowly positioned exhibitors such as Lindor, whose machines are suitable for particularly sensitive powders. There will also be numerous suppliers focusing on mixing and homogenisation, including Ystral, Ytron and Liebherr.

Measuring, automating, digitising – the trendsetters

Suppliers of industrial measurement and automation technology have long been among the exhibitors at POWTECH TECHNOPHARM. At Vega, Endress+Hauser and Co., visitors will not only see innovations for level and pressure measurement. Anyone who wants to find out about current communication standards on the road to Industry 4.0 is also well cared for here.

Process air and other gases are similarly essential for bulk solids production. Without blowers and compressors, such as those offered again in 2026 by Aerzen, Kaeser, Polimak and other exhibitors, many processes would be inconceivable. They convey powders and granulate while meeting many constraints, such as energy efficiency and safety. In addition, other suppliers of explosion and fire protection will be exhibiting in Hall 9, including leading manufacturers such as RSBP.

New halls offer new opportunities. Some of the major exhibitors are also moving and can now be found in Hall 7 or 7A, for example.

Joint stands and pavilions offer young companies a low-threshold opportunity to present themselves in the process environment. In addition to the start-up areas, this year's pavilions include Recycling in Focus, Smart Industry in Focus and Pharma in Focus.

Pavilions for recycling applications and international exhibitors

Many of these technologies are used in recycling, one of the target industries of POWTECH TECHNOPHARM. The trade fair is responding to its growing importance in 2026 in Hall 9 with the new Recycling-in-Focus pavilion. Suppliers of process technology for the circular economy can participate with a small or medium-sized stand.

Another highlight is a large exhibition area where start-ups can present their innovations. The German ‘Young Innovators’ are once again being sponsored by the BMWE. At the neighbouring joint stand for ‘International Start-ups,’ they will this time be joined by neighbours who are every bit as innovative as they are. In addition, the Pavilion Processing Alliance is supporting the further internationalisation of the trade fair with exhibitors from Latin America, Greece, and neighbouring countries, as well as China. All these countries host important processing trade fairs, which have joined forces under the umbrella of NürnbergMesse to form the Processing Alliance.

The two large joint stands for the ‘young innovators’ are located close to the entrance to Hall 9, near the Congress Centre Mitte. Incidentally, this is the ‘underground entrance’ to POWTECH TECHNOPHARM, which many visitors use. If you need one last reason to make a note in your diary for your visit to Nuremberg from 29 September to 1 October 2026, the ticket for public transport is once again included in the trade fair ticket.
