In principle, exhibitors who were located in the large Hall 9 in 2025 also have the option of moving. However, it is already becoming apparent that most of them were completely satisfied and see no need to secure a new stand location.
Broad industry focus provides technological impetus
In addition to the wishes of the exhibitors, other criteria must be taken into account when planning the trade fair. POWTECH TECHNOPHARM represents a broad focus on the various sectors of the processing industries. These range from chemical and plastics production to the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industries to environmental and recycling technology. They include animal feed production as well as the construction, stone and earth and energy sectors, such as manufacturers of battery materials. In addition, there are visitors from the mechanical and plant engineering sector, which addresses one or more of these industries. This diversity should be reflected in the stand placement in each hall. This benefits all exhibitors who focus on more than one industry. More importantly, all visitors who like POWTECH TECHNOPHARM precisely because it allows them to think outside the box will discover the technological diversity. This can lead to unexpected inspiration from one of the neighbouring industries, which can bring new solutions and provide a special competitive advantage.
Exhibitors who are still considering the ideal trade fair placement should consider that another association will be presenting itself in 2026, namely the German Bulk Solids Industry Association (DSIV). Numerous members are already long-standing exhibitors at POWTECH TECHNOPHARM. Other DSIV members can now test the trade fair by exhibiting at the joint stand. As in previous years, members of the VDMA and VDI can also present themselves at special shows. Start-ups and young companies participating in the ‘Young Innovators’ joint stand have a special opportunity. Those who meet the eligibility requirements, including having their headquarters in Germany, will receive financial support from the BMWE, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
New joint stands and pavilions
There will also be an expansion in the area of pavilions – themed joint stands with a focus on low-threshold participation and maximum opportunities for targeted networking. The new ‘Smart Industry-in-Focus’ pavilion brings together the topics of digitalisation, automation and intelligent production. Visitors looking for smart solutions can be specifically addressed here. Another new pavilion, ‘Recycling-in-Focus’, brings together providers of solutions that support the circular economy and shape the future of recycling. Finally, the ‘Pharma-in-Focus’ pavilion will once again be available for anyone who wants to reach the pharmaceutical industry in a simple and straightforward manner. Thanks to the support of the APV, the Working Group for Pharmaceutical Process Engineering, which co-organises the TECHNOPHARM part of the trade fair, this pavilion is particularly attractive for providers of technologies for GxP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The community is ready for the next POWTECH TECHNOPHARM in new halls. To enable future visitors to prepare for their visit to the trade fair in the best possible way, exhibitors should provide information about their new stand location at an early stage, for example via mailings and social media channels. A well-maintained profile in the exhibitor and product directory also ensures visibility. Each exhibitor can maintain this themselves and update it repeatedly until the trade fair. Specially marked product innovations attract particular attention. In addition, there are numerous marketing opportunities in a wide variety of media with which POWTECH TECHNOPHARM supports its exhibitors before and during the trade fair. This will ensure that the next trade fair presence is also a success.
