Global processing network even more closely connected

For over a year now, the process engineering community has been benefiting from the stronger integration of the Processing trade fairs under the umbrella of the NürnbergMesse Group. In 2026, international exhibitors will be able to highlight their offerings at the Processing Alliance Pavilion for the first time. In Brazil and China as well, the local Processing Alliance trade fairs are providing support to take the first step into global markets as early as 2026.

A mature process industry with many technology leaders and a focus on sustainability and Industry 4.0—that characterizes the market in Europe. In Asia, the industry sees itself as a volume leader and expert in rapid scaling. In South America, meanwhile, the emerging process industry benefits from location advantages due to local raw material deposits and represents a growing alternative for production. The Processing Alliance connects global markets, thereby fostering synergies and global growth for all participants.

Six trade fairs from the NürnbergMesse Group have joined forces in the Processing Alliance. Since last year, the network has been supporting its customers in conquering new international markets and acquiring customers worldwide: from initial contacts in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, and chemicals, to insights into local markets, and on to strategic partnerships. Participating in one of the trade fairs across three continents can be a first step.

In Europe, the Processing Alliance is represented by POWTECH TECHNOPHARM in Germany and the combined trade fair Foodtech & Global Pack in Greece. FCE Pharma, FCE Cosmetique, and analitica Latin America are the leading events in South America. And with IPB China, the Alliance includes one of Asia’s leading platforms.

Through NürnbergMesse’s Processing Alliance, six trade fairs in South America, Europe, and Asia create synergies and foster global networking among their customers.

A Perfect Showcase at the Processing Alliance Pavilion in Nuremberg

In September 2026, exhibitors at the international trade fairs can take advantage of a special offer from POWTECH TECHNOPHARM. The new Processing Alliance Pavilion in Hall 7A offers them the opportunity to present their products and solutions to a European audience and generate brand awareness. Marianny Eisenhofer, Director of POWTECH TECHNOPHARM, invites companies to participate: “The European market offers many opportunities for companies from South America, China, and Eastern Europe. With a booth in the new Pavilion, they can not only display their solutions but also connect with European companies looking to establish a subsidiary in their markets. Under the motto ‘Globally Networked, Locally Strong,’ we support them in this endeavour.”

The bookable packages include, in addition to booth space, basic booth equipment and various marketing services that ensure visibility even before the trade show. Expected visitors include professionals from the mechanical and plant engineering, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, food, construction, building materials, ceramics, plastics, environmental, and recycling sectors. Of interest are all technologies for the processing of powders, solids, and liquids. Machinery for GxP-compliant pharmaceutical production is also welcome. (Register here)

In July 2026, IPB—the Chinese counterpart to POWTECH TECHNOPHARM—will take place for the 23rd time.

Leveraging a Strong Alliance for First Steps into South America and China

The Processing Alliance also offers opportunities for a sustainable presence in the Chinese and South American markets in 2026. The series kicks off with FCE Cosmetique and FCE Pharma from June 1–3, 2026, in São Paulo. With a focus on raw materials, production and packaging solutions, and logistics, past events attracted visitors from 28 countries, including all Brazilian states. The lists of registered exhibitors, including several companies with European roots, are already online (exhibitor list FCE Pharma, FCE Cosmetique).

From July 22 to 24, 2026, IPB, the Chinese counterpart to POWTECH TECHNOPHARM, will welcome numerous visitors to Shanghai for the 23rd time. In collaboration with the Chinese Society of Particuology, it has established itself as the leading one-stop trade fair featuring cutting-edge technology for the entire processing chain of powders, bulk materials, and liquids. It offers solutions for the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for the ceramics, glass, plastics, rubber, and new energy sectors. A new addition is the Powder Materials section, which encompasses a wide range of products from calcium carbonate and various oxides to talc, metal powders, and nanomaterials. Last year, the trade fair attracted over 12,000 visitors from 36 countries. Numerous exhibitors from POWTECH TECHNOPHARM and their Chinese subsidiaries, such as AZO, GKM Siebtechnik, Netzsch, Neuman & Esser, Rembe, and Vega, are already displaying their products there. Those who, like them, wish to benefit from the professional support of NürnbergMesse and its Chinese partners and gain a foothold in the Chinese market can contact NürnbergMesse China directly or their contact person at POWTECH TECHNOPHARM.
