Centrifuges offer the necessary separation precision for particularly fine particles or complex multiphase mixtures. In decanters and separators, centrifugal force is used to separate substances of different densities from each other – either continuously or in batch operation.

These systems are powerful but energy-intensive. Their use is therefore particularly worthwhile for high-quality products or heavily contaminated suspensions.
